For the first time in 10 years, Russian conductor Vladimir Fedoseyev returns to the podium of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz. The St. Petersburg native is the long-serving chief conductor of the renowned Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra Moscow. As part of the special concert, he focuses on two symphonies: the Third Symphony of the Upper Austrian composer Balduin Sulzer (organ: Wolfgang Kogler) and Tchaikovsky´s seldom-heard Third Symphony, the “Polish”. The program also includes music by W.A. Mozart.
Both Sulzer and Fedoseyev celebrate their 85th birthdays in 2017.
